Anime, Manga, & Games BAN in Japan

BAD NEWS!!

Last year, there has been a lot of news about banning anime,manga and games in Japan because they thought that by having those it will dirt the ordinance of the said country..

Anime and Manga Regulation Bill passed the assembly on December 15th.

According to the official blog of Ito Masaki, one of the members of Tokyo Metropolitan assembly, the ruling party DPJ has decided to approve the anime and manga regulation bill. Other two major parites have already approved the bill, so it will pass the assembly on December 15th. DPJ agreed with the bill on condition that the resolution will be made with a collateral claim for a careful operation of the regulation. However, the collateral claim is not legally binding. The regulation will be enforced on July 1st 2011.

Mangaka Takaku Shoko tweeted that one of the major publishers turned her manga down because one of the characters in a high school uniform could contravene the local ordinance of Tokyo. She was frightened to know that the bill has already made the industry flinch.

Mangaka Meiji Kanako tweeted that the re-release of one of her manga has been under deliberation because of the descriptions of minors' sex in the manga. She said she won't be surprised if it's canceled.

Note: Self-regulation of books including manga has been done by Publishing Ethics Council since 1963. Designation of adult manga is done by this council, which was established by publishers and distributors. The supporters of the regulation bill insist that the self-regulation is insufficient.

Aww. After the blissful years of existence of animes in the whole wide world, now they're going to make some strict regulations for it?
Well it is true that a lot of people in japan espeially parents wanted to disband anime/manga due to some of its content. They're telling that anime/manga were bad influence for some children. There are also reports that a lot of people began imitating their favorite anime/manga character/scene which somehow made little damages. search for the news on yahoo

They all talk about the cons of anime/manga but they never discussed about the good things it provide to us, otakus. How sad! I really am. What would be the world without anime/manga. For sure it will be a boring one! And though they'll only try to control the production of it by assesing which one to launch, it's still disturbing! For sure those animes/manga would be not that great as the previous ones.

YEAH!! I totally agree.. I can't live without anime.. My life will be a boring one if it were to happen.. I hope that they will not ban it, they must consider our feelings, otakus.. So sad..

Honestly.. They only care for the one side of the society- the ones who hates otakus.
They didn't notice that ANIME and MANGA were the ones giving prosperity to japan! Without ANIME and MANGA no more seiyuu's to be hired! There sure would be a lot of unemployed people.

Obliterating anime and manga is like killing a lots of otakus in the world.

And surely, there will be no more tourist to visit Japan.. I think that there are many otakus at European Countries, States and some part of Asia.. The world will become boring for all the people, then Earth will end.. hahaha.. Just kidding..

But I'm confused. Why is that this news didn't spread at all? I mean, this news is a threat to all otakus but I didn't see or heard it being talked about by some.

Haha. No connection at all. But I guess that news won't take effect at all. Japanese government will get scared and hide in their mothers lap for sure since when they make some implementation of that it's like they request a war for millions of otaku around thae world. HAHA!
